The Gist:
Support DRC’s information management team in data systems, analysis, and reporting across humanitarian programmes in Kenya. Ideal for someone with foundational IM/database experience seeking hands-on exposure to refugee protection data work.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Maintain and update information management systems, databases, and dashboards; ensure data accuracy and organizational alignment.
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, validation, and preparation of reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support GIS/spatial data management, data quality checks, and compliance with DRC’s data protection policies.
- Help deliver training materials and provide day-to-day technical support to staff on IM tools and data collection platforms.
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: University degree in computer science, data science, programming, information management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in information management, database design/administration, or IM work with NGOs/UN; working knowledge of Excel, SQL, or similar data analysis software.
- Standout Qualifications: GIS mapping experience, knowledge of M&E platforms (Kobo, ODK, SurveyCTO), programming certificates, or prior capacity-building experience preferred.
