The Gist:
Support a global civil-society network fighting immigration detention across Europe through project coordination, advocacy, and member engagement. Ideal for someone passionate about migration rights who can juggle operational tasks and strategic work.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Coordinate regional projects, events, and advocacy campaigns on immigration detention and alternatives to detention
- Manage stakeholder relationships with EU institutions, civil society, governments, and member organizations across Europe
- Support network members through capacity building, peer learning activities, and knowledge sharing
- Draft advocacy materials, monitor EU policy developments, and contribute to fundraising and donor reporting
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: University degree in international relations, law, migration studies, political science, or social sciences required.
- Experience: Minimum three years of professional experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy within migration and/or human rights sectors.
- Standout Qualifications: EU-level advocacy experience, knowledge of immigration detention issues in Europe, and Spanish language skills are valued but not required.

Languages:
Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus.
