Consortium Coordinator

The Gist:

Lead strategic coordination across a three-country humanitarian resilience program funded by Germany’s BMZ, working with multiple NGO partners in Sudan, South Sudan, and Ethiopia. This is for someone ready to manage complex multi-partner operations and represent the consortium at the highest levels.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Act as primary liaison between consortium partners, donors, and stakeholders; facilitate regular coordination meetings and information sharing
  • Coordinate joint reporting, monitor implementation, and flag risks to consortium leadership
  • Contribute to strategic planning, identify collaboration opportunities, and support advocacy at national/international levels
  • Represent the consortium in coordination forums across all three countries and promote cross-country learning on HDP Nexus and resilience objectives

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Master’s degree in development, humanitarian affairs, international relations, program management, DRR, public health, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ senior-level experience leading complex multi-country, multi-partner humanitarian or resilience programs, including BMZ-funded work and INGO-NNGO partnerships in fragile/conflict-affected contexts.
  • Standout Qualifications: Prior experience in Sudan, South Sudan, or Ethiopia; familiarity with BMZ TDA funding; and proven track record in localization and partnership strengthening.
