The Gist:

Manage protection cases and support vulnerable humanitarian workers through Action contre la Faim’s new aid-worker protection mechanism. This role is for someone who combines legal/social science training with hands-on case management experience.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Process, analyze, and coordinate requests for protection support from aid workers
  • Track cases and protection grants, ensuring follow-up and compliance
  • Coordinate with country partners and local actors to deliver support
  • Strengthen protection procedures, tools, and practices across programs

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Master’s degree in international law, social sciences, relations internationales, or related field required; additional training in case management or protection programming expected.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years demonstrable professional experience in case management and working with vulnerable populations, civil-society organizations, communities, and individuals; strong grasp of protection principles and survivor-centered approaches required.
  • Standout Qualifications: Experience in humanitarian settings, familiarity with international protection standards, and prior work integrating protection across programs are valued.
