The Gist:

Help newly arrived immigrants and refugees navigate systems to access legal, healthcare, and community services. You’re the connective tissue between vulnerable clients and the resources they need to rebuild.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Conduct outreach to eligible immigrant and refugee populations and help them understand available services
  • Coordinate appointments with legal providers, healthcare partners, and other service organizations; troubleshoot barriers like transportation and language interpretation
  • Track client progress, referrals, and outcomes in databases and reporting systems
  • Partner with legal service providers, healthcare organizations, and community groups to ensure clients succeed

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in human services, community services navigation, or nonprofit program work; experience with immigrant/refugee populations preferred, and lived experience valued.
  • Standout Qualifications: Fluency in Swahili, Arabic, Spanish, Dari, or Pashto is highly desired; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
