US-ASEAN Business Council

The Gist:

Support the US-ASEAN Business Council’s Singapore office with research, programming, and policy analysis for a 170+ member organization promoting US-Southeast Asia trade. Ideal for someone interested in government relations, business development, or economic policy in the Indo-Pacific region.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Assist with programming including the US-ASEAN Strategic Business Forum, member meetings, and business missions
  • Help develop roundtables, briefings, seminars, and workshops advancing member company objectives
  • Monitor major news and policy developments; contribute to intelligence updates
  • Coordinate with Singapore and DC-based staff on program preparation and logistics

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Experience in government, government relations, economic analysis, project management, or business development preferred.
  • Standout Qualifications: Knowledge of Singapore government, experience working with senior executives, and strong research skills are advantages.

Good Fit If:

You’re curious about US-Asia trade policy and want hands-on exposure to how multinational corporations engage with Southeast Asian governments and markets. You’re organized, comfortable absorbing information quickly, and eager to work across time zones with international teams.

Languages:

Fluent English required; writing and verbal communication essential.
