Mercy Corps (Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance)

The Gist:

Design and deliver a four-part online learning program on climate resilience advocacy for 19 country programs across the Zurich Climate Resilience Alliance. This is for experienced advocacy trainers who can create engaging, practical resources for NGO teams at different experience levels.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Review existing Alliance materials and influencing review findings to tailor content
  • Design and deliver six interactive online workshops (each of four topics delivered twice for time zones) covering strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, partnership skills, and measuring impact
  • Develop accompanying practical tools, templates, and resource packs (message templates, stakeholder mapping guides, case studies) that participants can apply in their work
  • Report to Policy Advisor and collaborate with ZCRA team including Senior Advocacy Advisor

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Demonstrable expertise in advocacy, influencing and campaigning; extensive experience designing and delivering online advocacy training; proven ability to develop high-quality practical online learning resources; strong facilitation skills with interactive virtual workshops.
  • Standout Qualifications: Spanish language skills and experience working with charities, NGOs, membership organisations, or the public sector are advantageous.
