The Gist:
Provide intensive case management and support to vulnerable refugees, asylees, and other eligible populations, helping them navigate systems and build self-sufficiency. Ideal for someone committed to refugee services and vulnerable populations.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized self-sufficiency plans for enrolled clients
- Help clients access healthcare, social services, benefits, and navigate local systems
- Build and maintain networks with service providers, community partners, and government coordinators
- Document all services in case files and IRC’s database; respond to client crises with supervisor guidance
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of case management experience with similar populations or client needs required.
- Standout Qualifications: Fluency in Arabic, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Dari/Pashto, or Haitian Creole strongly preferred.
