The Gist:
Oversee construction quality for a seed centre project in Rwanda, ensuring all work meets standards and specifications. You’ll inspect materials, conduct site reviews, and coordinate with contractors to keep quality on track.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Review construction plans, drawings, and materials to verify compliance with quality standards and codes
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify deviations, and coordinate corrective actions with contractors
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and testing requirements for concrete, structural, and installation work
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and prepare reports on project performance and risks
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related field required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in construction quality assurance, quality control, site supervision, or civil/structural engineering with demonstrated construction project exposure.
- Standout Qualifications: Registration with the Institution of Engineers of Rwanda is an added advantage; proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD tools preferred.
