UNICEF Supply Division
The Gist:
Manage procurement and contracting for health technology products within UNICEF’s Supply Division. Ideal for someone with contracting and market research experience who wants to support global access to essential health commodities for children.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Review procurement requirements, solicit and evaluate bids/proposals/quotations, and negotiate with suppliers
- Prepare procurement data and supporting documents; authorize purchases or submit to Contract Review Committee for approval
- Oversee Long-Term Arrangements (LTAs) and coordinate timely delivery of orders from Country Offices and partners
- Monitor market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and advise on local procurement authorizations and contractual issues
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, law, supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of solid, relevant work experience in contracting, tendering, and market research.
- Standout Qualifications: International experience, health technology procurement background, experience with long-term agreements and e-procurement systems, and prior UN/UNICEF experience are strongly advantageous.
