EducationUSA Strategic Communications and Data Analysis Volunteer

The Gist:

Support U.S. educational diplomacy by helping EducationUSA promote American higher education globally. This semester-long volunteer role is for students who want hands-on experience in communications and data work.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Create strategic communications materials like one-pagers, presentations, and visual tools for the EducationUSA program
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from EducationUSA’s 400+ advising centers across 170+ countries
  • Improve data management processes and help modernize how center information is tracked and organized
  • Work with spreadsheets and data systems to consolidate information from multiple sources

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited institution (college, university, technical school, etc.) for Spring 2027, with minimum 2.0 GPA and good academic standing.
  • Standout Qualifications: Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is preferred.

Good Fit If:

You’re a current student wanting real-world experience in international affairs and education policy. You’re comfortable with data tools like Excel and Google Suite, have strong writing and communication skills, and care about promoting U.S. educational opportunities globally.
