The Gist:
Lead field operations and program implementation for Action contre la Faim in a humanitarian crisis context. This role is for an experienced manager ready to oversee teams, partnerships, and integrated health and food security programs on the ground.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Coordinate field operations and oversee integrated program implementation across nutrition, health, food security, and WASH
- Manage and develop the field team with technical support from department heads
- Develop country strategy, design programs, and strengthen local partnerships and community engagement
- Handle security, access negotiations, and inter-agency coordination
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in humanitarian action, international relations, development studies, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a senior management role with humanitarian or development organizations in similar contexts, plus project management experience.
- Standout Qualifications: Strong negotiation skills, strategic planning ability, and proven track record in budget/resource management and team development are highly valued.
