Field Coordinator

The Gist:

Lead Solidarites International’s Kharkiv field base in Ukraine, managing programming, staff, and operations across WASH and shelter sectors. You’ll oversee a team of ~35 people and a ~3.3M budget while navigating an active conflict zone.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Direct field base management: strategy, program quality, and financial/HR/logistics oversight across the Kharkiv area
• Lead and manage logistics, HR, finance, MEAL, and program managers; ensure security protocols and context analysis
• Represent SI in local coordination groups and manage partnerships, localization strategy, and stakeholder relations
• Support staff wellbeing, handle conscription impacts, and adapt operations to volatile security conditions

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: Master’s degree in humanitarian field or related discipline.
• Experience: 3-4 years in humanitarian sector; 0-2 years in similar field coordinator or head-of-base roles; proven HR and security management in volatile environments.
• Standout Qualifications: Ukrainian or Russian language skills are a plus; experience in WASH or shelter programming strengthens candidacy.
