Outreach Awareness Worker – North-West Syria

The Gist:

Provide case management and psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence and at-risk children in Syria. This role is for someone committed to trauma-informed, survivor-centered humanitarian work in a complex emergency.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Conduct needs assessments, develop safety plans, and manage ongoing cases for GBV survivors and vulnerable children
  • Deliver individual and group psychosocial support sessions; supervise and document outcomes
  • Run awareness sessions on protection and safety for community members; develop session materials
  • Identify high-risk cases and coordinate referrals to other service providers; maintain secure case files

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: University degree or intermediate diploma in social sciences, psychological counseling, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in humanitarian work with direct experience in case management, psychosocial support, and protection.
  • Standout Qualifications: Priority given to candidates living in the operational areas of North-West Syria.
