The Gist:
Support the planning and delivery of programs, events, and operations at a Pan-African racial justice organization. Ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing racial and climate justice across Africa and Europe.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Coordinate logistical planning and delivery of conferences, workshops, webinars, and other in-person or online events
- Maintain program trackers, participant databases, and documentation; track action items and follow up with colleagues and partners
- Conduct desk research, stakeholder mapping, and support grant applications and organizational reports
- Manage administrative tasks including recruitment coordination, procurement, and organizational databases
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in International Relations, Development Studies, Public Policy, Law, Project Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Experience: Relevant working experience through internships, volunteering, academic projects, or employment in program support, event coordination, administration, research, or operations.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience organizing international events, fluency in French or Swahili, and demonstrated commitment to racial justice, reparations, climate justice, or gender justice issues are advantages.
