The Gist:
Drive humanitarian and development project proposals for Acted in Burkina Faso, managing grants and donor relations in a fragile, multi-crisis context. This is for someone ready to work hands-on in fundraising, grant management, and coordination during a 6-month contract.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Develop project proposals aligned with Acted’s strategy and submit to donors; manage contextual analysis and external relationships
- Track contracts, ensure timely reporting to funders, and monitor partnership compliance
- Coordinate internally across departments, manage staff (if assigned), and maintain project documentation
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s degree in international relations, development, political science, or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years in project design, proposal writing, or grant management; understanding of humanitarian aid systems and donor requirements.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience in fragile or conflict-affected contexts, familiarity with the humanitarian system architecture, and proven ability to communicate with multilingual stakeholders are valued.
