The Gist:
Design and implement DoD enterprise network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. Ideal for network engineers with security clearance and hands-on experience supporting defense infrastructure.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Conduct site surveys and create structured network designs for voice, data, security, and AV systems
- Develop engineered drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for network implementations
- Collaborate with IT, facilities, project teams, and vendors to translate business requirements into system designs and implementation plans
- Manage network device production, architecture design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Lambda) to support global enterprise networks
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years implementing and engineering DoD enterprise networks; 3+ years with security, routing, switching (BGP); multi-site mesh WAN, layer 1-4 troubleshooting, AWS, Python/Java/Groovy, and Data Quality tool implementation.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience with multiple vendor solutions (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Palo Alto, Arista, Juniper), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), structured cabling standards, and wireless/distributed networks.
