Cybersecurity PKI Engineer

The Gist:

Design and maintain secure PKI solutions for Navy and DoD systems aligned with federal standards. This role is for someone who can translate operational needs into scalable technical infrastructure.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, highly available PKI solutions per Navy/DoD standards
• Manage PKI documentation including certificate inventories, configurations, architectural diagrams, and procedures
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance PKI environment and efficiency
• Partner with engineers, security teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to design and deliver solutions meeting operational requirements

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity with PKI focus; 3+ years with Active Directory Certificate Services; experience with Certificate Authority design, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
• Standout Qualifications: Experience with Keyfactor or Venafi, ACME/SCEP implementation, Certificate Policy/Certification Practice Statements, and Security+ certification are advantageous.
