The Gist:
Process and quality-control incoming donations for a global Christian humanitarian organization, managing mail sorting, remittance processing, and staff training. Ideal for detail-oriented operational professionals ready to support World Vision’s poverty-alleviation mission.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Open, sort, and process incoming donation mail using remittance machines; maintain logs of priority mail
- Train Incoming Mail Center staff on machinery and donation procedures; coach agency and on-call workers
- Perform quality-control analysis of work produced by IMC staff and provide feedback
- Operate imaging remittance systems to capture donation data, encode/endorse checks, and manage donor accounting records
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: 3 years of related work experience in remittance processing, office administration, mail room, or similar area.
- Standout Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of scanning sorts, posting systems, and donor accounting software; cash handling and verification experience.
