The Gist:
Lead data management and information systems for NRC’s Ukraine operations. You’ll oversee IM infrastructure, coordinate with teams across the office, and transform raw data into evidence for humanitarian decision-making.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee NRC Ukraine’s information management and data management systems, ensuring compliance with data protection and NRC policies
- Coordinate with Area-based IM officers and database staff; provide technical oversight and training on data collection and management
- Design and implement data collection tools (including mobile/online systems); ensure data quality through validation, audits, and rigorous checks
- Create customized data products (dashboards, reports, infographics) for internal and external stakeholders to drive evidence-based decision-making
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Degree in statistics, computer science, computer engineering, information systems/technology, or related discipline (or two years equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Proven experience in information management and database design; demonstrated knowledge of advanced Excel and Microsoft Power Apps; experience in humanitarian/recovery context preferred.
- Standout Qualifications: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, KOBO, ODK, Power Automate, SharePoint, or Python; experience with agile project management and team leadership.
