The Gist:
Administrative and operational support role for a displacement tracking project in Nigeria. Ideal for someone with humanitarian sector experience who thrives in structured, data-driven environments.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Track project implementation, monitor budgets, and verify fund availability
- Compile, summarize, and present data on displacement and migration topics
- Draft reports, correspondence, briefing notes, and statistical presentations
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and liaison with government agencies, UN bodies, and NGOs
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience working with international humanitarian organizations in a multicultural setting and liaison with government authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs.
- Standout Qualifications: Knowledge of UN/bilateral donor programming, IPSAS accounting standards, and working knowledge of local languages in Northeast, Northwest, and North-Central Nigeria are strong advantages.

You’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously. You have genuine interest in migration and displacement issues and can work effectively across cultural and organizational boundaries.
Languages:
