Field Coordinator

The Gist:

Lead field operations and program implementation for Action Against Hunger in a humanitarian emergency context. You’ll oversee teams, coordinate with partners, and manage day-to-day operations in a challenging environment.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Coordinate field operations and integrated program implementation across multiple sectors (nutrition, food security, WASH, etc.)
• Manage and develop field-level teams with technical support from department heads
• Develop country strategy, design programs, and strengthen local partnerships and community engagement
• Handle security, access, budget management, and inter-agency coordination

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in humanitarian action, international relations, development studies, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a senior management role with humanitarian or development organizations in similar contexts, plus project management experience.
• Standout Qualifications: Strong negotiation skills, strategic planning expertise, and proven ability to manage budgets and security in complex environments are preferred.
