Project Coordinator

The Gist:

Lead operational delivery of education and child protection programs across two Syrian governorates for World Vision/UNICEF. Manage 15+ staff and oversee project quality, compliance, and stakeholder coordination in a humanitarian context.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Supervise Education Coordinators, sub-district teams, and specialists; conduct field visits to monitor implementation quality
• Coordinate with UNICEF, local authorities, and partners; represent project in working groups and inter-agency meetings
• Track project indicators with MEAL team, ensure donor compliance, and address beneficiary feedback
• Develop work plans, procurement plans, and staff capacity-building initiatives

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: University degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in project coordination or management, preferably in education and/or child protection; Syria or Northeast Syria experience valued.
• Standout Qualifications: Prior experience with UNICEF or other UN agencies; demonstrated expertise in humanitarian education programming.
