The Gist:
Executive-level administrative support role at the State Department’s Office of Foreign Missions. You’ll manage operations for senior leadership while coordinating across bureaus, agencies, and Congress.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Manage operational support activities for the Director and coordinate with department offices, the White House, Congressional staff, and other agencies
- Track the office’s participation in inter-bureau and inter-agency meetings to ensure timely and substantive contributions
- Prepare reports, briefing papers, background documents, and correspondence involving analysis and interpretation of data
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s degree required, or 2+ years of graduate study, or J.D./LL.B., or equivalent combination of graduate education and specialized experience.
- Experience: 1+ year of specialized federal experience at GS-07 level providing administrative/operational support, coordinating across offices, and preparing research and briefings.
- Standout Qualifications: Prior experience in foreign policy, interagency coordination, or congressional relations would strengthen your candidacy.
