Sightsavers

The Gist:

Sightsavers is seeking organizations to deliver digital entrepreneurship and business training to young people with disabilities across Nigeria. This is a contracted implementation role for a qualified NGO or disability-led organization, not a job opening for individual employees.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Recruit and mobilize persons with disabilities (prioritizing women) and conduct accessibility-informed needs assessments
  • Design and deliver accessible digital entrepreneurship training on business tools, digital marketing, financial literacy, and business planning
  • Provide post-training business development support, mentoring, and coaching to help participants launch or improve enterprises
  • Support seed grant recipient selection and management; facilitate linkages with financial institutions and government partners

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience delivering disability-inclusive programming in economic empowerment, digital skills, entrepreneurship, or livelihoods; demonstrated competence in accessible training delivery and digital accessibility.
  • Standout Qualifications: Preference for Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) with meaningful leadership representation of women and persons with disabilities; existing partnerships with disability-inclusive financial institutions.

Good Fit If:

You lead or work for a Nigerian NGO or disability organization with strong roots in your community and genuine commitment to disability rights. You’re organized, can manage budgets and safeguarding protocols, and know how to make training truly accessible-not just an afterthought.
