The Gist:

Screen eligible clients and connect them to IRC refugee and immigrant services. This role is for someone who enjoys direct community work and can build trust across diverse populations.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Conduct eligibility screenings for walk-in clients and enroll them in appropriate IRC programs
  • Perform outreach to communities and partner organizations to raise awareness of services and improve referral pathways
  • Document client interactions, enter data into databases, and assist with reporting
  • Refer ineligible clients to external resources and maintain relationships with service providers

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in human services required; experience with refugee and/or immigrant populations strongly preferred.
  • Standout Qualifications: Native fluency in Haitian Creole and/or Spanish; proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools.
