The Gist:

Coordinate humanitarian operations for a major NGO responding to the Ukraine crisis in Sumy. This role manages office functions, oversees program implementation, and represents PIN to local partners and authorities.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Plan, implement, and monitor emergency and early recovery activities across the area of responsibility
  • Manage field teams, visit project sites regularly, collect data, and report progress to senior management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders (NGOs, government bodies, communities) and coordinate with partners
  • Ensure timely collection and submission of all project documentation, assessments, and activity reports

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in humanitarian studies, social sciences, international relations, project management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in humanitarian projects, emergency response, or community development.
  • Standout Qualifications: Prior experience working in conflict-affected contexts, familiarity with Ukrainian context, and demonstrated expertise in rapid emergency response are advantageous.
