The Gist:
Lead technical and economic management of Spanish Red Cross development projects in Guatemala, overseeing project execution, results monitoring, and strategic coordination. Ideal for someone with development cooperation experience seeking a hands-on field role.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Manage project technical and economic execution, track results and indicators, and handle project justification
- Handle administrative oversight: reports, documentation, compliance
- Coordinate local team and liaise with Red Cross delegation leadership on strategy and operations
- Identify and design new interventions aligned with organizational priorities and emergency response needs
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification required.
- Experience: Minimum one year managing development cooperation projects plus emergency response experience; knowledge of logical framework methodology and international cooperation.
- Standout Qualifications: Team and budget management experience, prior Red Cross delegate roles, familiarity with ECHO/AECID funding, knowledge of Central America, or active Red Cross volunteer status preferred.
