The Gist:

Find and recruit small businesses in Karak to participate in a job-training and grants program for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians. You’ll be the bridge between enterprises and the project team.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Map and identify eligible micro, small, and medium enterprises in Karak, prioritizing those owned/staffed by women, youth, and people with disabilities
  • Present the project’s grant scheme and support services to businesses; collect and screen applications
  • Support the enterprise selection process including eligibility checks and documentation
  • Act as liaison between selected businesses and the project team; maintain records and contribute to reporting

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in private sector engagement, business development services, or outreach roles; strong knowledge of the local business environment in Amman or Karak.
  • Standout Qualifications: Experience with grant schemes or enterprise support programs; strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

Languages:
