The Gist:
Lead on-the-ground implementation of a business-support program for micro and small enterprises across three Jordanian governorates, managing local staff and partners. Ideal for someone with development project experience who’s ready to supervise teams and navigate donor compliance.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Coordinate an online legal and financial mentorship program for selected MSMEs across Amman, Zarqa, and Karak
- Supervise ICU field staff (case managers, outreach officers) and ensure quality, consistent delivery
- Monitor enterprise participation, track grant conditions, and document progress against work plans
- Liaise with service providers, local authorities, business groups, and partner organizations; flag risks and propose fixes
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field (Master’s also acceptable).
- Experience: At least 4 years coordinating field-level development or humanitarian projects, with demonstrated experience supervising teams; exposure to private sector development or MSME support preferred.
- Standout Qualifications: EU/AICS-funded project experience and familiarity with donor compliance procedures are valued.
