La Chaine de l'Espoir
The Gist:
Six-month internship supporting La Chaine de l’Espoir’s health-focused programs across the Middle East. For Master’s students interested in humanitarian coordination and international development work.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Handle administrative tasks: draft correspondence, meeting notes, project summaries, and prepare documents for signature
- Write project descriptions for annual reports and articles for the website; create and update communication materials
- Assist with project design, funding proposals, monitoring tools, and final reports in coordination with donors
- Prepare missions by organizing medical experts, logistics (visas, flights, accommodation), and partner agreements
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in International Relations, Humanitarian Studies, Development & Cooperation, or Political Science.
- Experience: Some prior experience or familiarity with project management, ideally at an NGO headquarters or in one of La Chaine de l’Espoir’s intervention countries.
- Standout Qualifications: Medical/healthcare humanitarian background and knowledge of humanitarian organizations and international cooperation networks are valued.
Good Fit If:
You’re organized and adaptable, comfortable juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, and genuinely motivated to work in humanitarian health. You write clearly in both French and English and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Languages:
Fluent French and English required.
