The Gist:

What You’d Be Doing:
- Administer and maintain classified/unclassified computer systems, networks, servers, and telecommunications at overseas posts
- Provide technical support and training to mission staff; troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Oversee IT projects including system deployment, cloud services, cybersecurity, and emergency communications
- Supervise locally employed IT staff and manage equipment procurement, inventory, and security protocols
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Must have served in U.S. military IT role, federal civil-service IT position, or as IT contractor to the U.S. government.
- Experience: Two years of specialized IT experience demonstrating progression, with 60% of duties in system maintenance, network configuration, customer support, Windows/cloud systems, cybersecurity, or telecom.
- Standout Qualifications: Certifications (BICSI Installer, RF systems license), VoIP/PBX expertise, radio systems knowledge, and data analytics skills are valued.
