The Gist:
Deploy to humanitarian emergencies across the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia to provide operational surge support for supply chain, logistics, and emergency office setup. This role is for experienced field operators ready to mobilize rapidly to crisis zones.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Provide rapid in-country operational surge support during humanitarian emergencies, focusing on procurement, logistics, supply chain, and emergency sub-office setup
- Support emergency operations planning, implementation, and closeout through remote and on-site technical assistance aligned with CRS standards and donor requirements
- Deliver on-the-job training and technical accompaniment to CRS staff and local partners; facilitate operations-focused briefings and orientations
- Document lessons learned, manage supply chain and accounting systems in new emergencies, and support compliance with donor regulations
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Graduate degree in international development or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of field experience supporting or managing humanitarian operations with an INGO, including demonstrated field management and integration of cross-cutting themes.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience setting up and managing humanitarian supply chains, engaging and strengthening partnerships, and familiarity with ICT/GIS or CRS programming principles are preferred.
