Mental Health & Psychosocial Support Program Manager – DRC

The Gist:

Lead mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) activities for Action contre la Faim in Mongbwalu, DRC. You’ll design, implement, and oversee trauma and distress interventions while managing a team of 10.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Design and roll out quality MHPSS interventions aligned with organizational and international standards
  • Manage a 10-person MHPSS team, including recruitment, training, and remote supervision
  • Oversee project implementation, monitoring, and impact measurement; handle reporting and accountability
  • Build partnerships with local authorities and communities; coordinate ACF’s presence in the zone

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Master’s degree in clinical psychology or psychopathology required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years as a psychologist or psychiatrist; at least 1 year managing humanitarian/development projects in MHPSS; experience treating psychological trauma and distress.
  • Standout Qualifications: Prior experience with Action contre la Faim is a plus; strong management skills and ability to work in complex, security-sensitive contexts are valued.
