The Gist:
Coordinate a multi-partner network implementing religious freedom and peacebuilding work across Cameroon. You’ll be the hub connecting local partner organizations with Mennesker met een Missie’s broader Faith in Freedom program.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Facilitate collaboration among 4-6 partner organizations, build trust, and strengthen collective ownership of the program strategy
- Support annual planning, reflection, reporting, and learning cycles; track partner reports and consolidate national narratives
- Coordinate advocacy agendas and maintain strategic relationships with government bodies, religious institutions, civil society networks, and the Dutch Embassy
- Organize capacity-building activities, peer exchanges, and learning events; manage logistics for program visits and security assessments
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Relevant academic background in international development, human rights, peacebuilding, governance, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience coordinating multi-partner networks or consortia; familiarity with religious freedom issues and Cameroon’s religious, social, and political context; experience working with religious actors and diverse civil society organizations.
- Standout Qualifications: Strong background in gender equality, conflict sensitivity, Do No Harm principles, and safeguarding practices; fluency in both French and English (written and oral); comfort with Office 365 and online collaboration tools.
