The Gist:
Administrative and clerical role supporting USAID’s Office of Inspector General’s Office of General Counsel. You’ll handle confidential legal matters, whistleblower complaints, FOIA requests, and day-to-day office operations.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the General Counsel, including scheduling, travel coordination, and records management
- Receive, log, route, and track whistleblower disclosures and complaints; maintain related databases
- Process incoming FOIA requests, generate acknowledgments, track deadlines, and manage document assembly
- Serve as office receptionist, respond to inquiries, and follow up with staff on pending matters
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-07 federal level (or equivalent) providing administrative support, managing records according to procedures, and processing program-related requests like FOIA or whistleblower submissions.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience with FOIA administration, whistleblower protection programs, or legal office operations is valued.
