Safety & Wellness Coordinator: ASF, DEPTH & VOCA

The Gist:

Support asylum seekers and crime victims in Arizona through case management, research coordination, and community outreach. Ideal for someone passionate about refugee services and trauma-informed care.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Coordinate the DEPTH research project: recruit participants, conduct surveys/interviews, manage participant care, and complete research training
• Support VOCA program enrollment, case file maintenance, and client services for asylum seekers
• Deliver trauma-informed assessments, crisis support, and referrals to vulnerable clients
• Build partnerships with law enforcement and community agencies; lead outreach, training, and compliance reporting

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field strongly preferred; comparable work experience may substitute.
• Experience: 2+ years of related work experience including 1+ year working with asylum seekers, victims of crime, or vulnerable populations; case management and victims assistance experience preferred.
• Standout Qualifications: Public speaking/presentation experience, database/computer literacy, and in-depth knowledge of asylum law and policy are preferred.
