Senior Cloud Engineer

World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

The Gist:

Build and manage WWF’s global Azure cloud infrastructure that powers conservation work across South America, Central America, Africa, and Asia. You’ll own mission-critical systems ensuring seamless operations for teams protecting wildlife and addressing climate change.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Design, provision, and manage Azure subscriptions, VMs, networking, and security infrastructure across production and staging environments
  • Configure Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, and identity management; automate tasks using PowerShell and Graph API
  • Build disaster recovery and backup strategies; troubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid system issues
  • Lead projects end-to-end and communicate technical progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Degree in IT or related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years work experience (including at least 6 years in IT); extensive hands-on experience managing large-scale Azure production systems, enterprise networking, Entra ID, M365, and Windows/Linux servers; proficiency in PowerShell and Graph API.
  • Standout Qualifications: Fluency in both English and Spanish (required); experience with Microsoft Copilot integration, Fabric, Power BI, and emerging AI-driven automation; proven ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues and recommend modernization opportunities.
