Victim Services Caseworker

The Gist:

Help crime victims in Phoenix navigate resources, legal rights, and recovery. You’ll be the primary support person for vulnerable refugees and immigrants rebuilding after trauma.

What You’d Be Doing:

• Conduct eligibility screenings, enroll participants, and develop individualized service plans with trauma-informed care
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning; help clients access legal aid, compensation, and community resources
• Build partnerships with law enforcement, courts, nonprofits, and social service agencies to identify and refer victims
• Track program data, maintain case files, and report outcomes to donors and agency leadership

What They’re Looking For:

• Education: Undergraduate degree in Human Services or related field strongly preferred; comparable work experience may substitute.
• Experience: 2+ years of related work experience, including minimum 1 year directly with crime victims or other vulnerable populations.
• Standout Qualifications: Bilingual ability in Dari, Spanish, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French, or other refugee/immigrant languages spoken in Arizona is preferred.
