The Gist:
Lead program implementation and manage project teams for an international humanitarian NGO’s mission in N’Djamena. Ideal for someone with development or humanitarian expertise who wants hands-on responsibility for strategy and execution.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Oversee operational strategy development, context analysis, and needs assessments; liaise with donors and partners
- Manage project leads through planning, implementation monitoring, budget adjustments, and performance reviews
- Guide project execution, collect verification data, and prepare presentations for stakeholders
- Strengthen team technical capacity and ensure activities align with mission objectives
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent (BAC+5) in humanitarian affairs, agronomy, rural development, or hydraulics.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years managing or coordinating projects, with background in education, WASH, or food security.
- Standout Qualifications: Strong analytical and synthesis skills; proven ability to adapt programming based on context shifts.
