Anti-Trafficking Caseworker

The Gist:

Provide case management and support to survivors of human trafficking in Iowa, helping them access resources, plan for safety, and build pathways to self-sufficiency. Ideal for someone passionate about serving vulnerable populations with direct, hands-on impact.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Complete eligibility screenings, enrollment paperwork, and safety planning for trafficking survivors
  • Develop individualized service plans and coordinate multidisciplinary support through community partners
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and help identify and refer potential trafficking victims
  • Document case notes, track program activities, and compile data for reporting to donors and leadership

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Human Services or similar field is strongly preferred; comparable related work experience may substitute.
  • Experience: 2-3 years minimum working with victims of human trafficking or other vulnerable populations; case management and victims assistance experience preferred.
  • Standout Qualifications: Spanish bilingual ability, computer and database experience, and familiarity with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) are valued.
