Mensen met een Missie
The Gist:
Coordinate a multi-partner network implementing a religious freedom and peacebuilding programme across Kenya. You’ll be the hub connecting local faith-based and civil society partners with Mensen met een Missie’s headquarters in The Hague.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Facilitate collaboration among 4-6 partner organisations, strengthening trust and shared ownership around interfaith dialogue and freedom of religion initiatives
- Support annual planning, reporting, monitoring and learning processes; coordinate baseline, mid-term and endline evaluations with the PMEL team
- Maintain relationships with government, religious bodies, civil society networks and the Dutch Embassy; coordinate Kenya’s advocacy agenda
- Organise capacity-building, peer learning events and cross-country exchanges; ensure partners follow safeguarding, gender equality and conflict-sensitivity policies
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Relevant academic background in international development, human rights, peacebuilding, governance or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience coordinating partner networks or multi-stakeholder consortia; familiarity with programme planning, reporting, monitoring, evaluation and advocacy; experience working with religious actors and diverse civil society.
- Standout Qualifications: Knowledge of Kenyan languages and existing understanding of Kenya’s religious, social and political context are valued.
