One Acre Fund
The Gist:
Be the day-to-day liaison between One Acre Fund’s Ethiopia operations and local/zonal government officials in the Central Ethiopia region. You’ll manage partnerships, ensure compliance, and support program expansion across Hadiya and Kembata Zones.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Serve as primary contact with woreda and zonal government focal persons; resolve stakeholder issues proactively and attend weekly cluster lead meetings
- Monitor government support to OAF activities weekly, track performance, and troubleshoot GR issues in consultation with your manager
- Prepare, review, and submit quarterly, mid-term, and terminal reports to government offices; gather inputs and ensure timely submission
- Organize and deliver GR capacity-building trainings to field staff; support project launches, workshops, and field visits for external stakeholders
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: University degree required.
- Experience: Minimum three years of work experience, including at least one year in partnerships or communications; must have lived and worked in Central Ethiopia for at least two years.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience independently facilitating workshops and public speaking/training delivery; strong report writing and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate challenges.

Languages:
Fluent in English and Amharic required; Hadiyegna and Keffagna (both written and spoken) required.
