The Gist:

Help newly arrived refugees in Phoenix find work and become self-sufficient. You’ll be the bridge between job-seeking clients and employers, managing the full employment journey from assessment through placement.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Assess refugee clients’ skills and develop personalized employment plans with job readiness training
  • Build relationships with local employers to identify and match appropriate job opportunities
  • Guide clients through job applications, interviews, and hiring processes; assist with unemployment insurance claims
  • Monitor job performance post-placement and troubleshoot any workplace issues

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least two years in case management, employment services, job placement, or business, with demonstrated knowledge of the US job search process.
  • Standout Qualifications: Knowledge of the Tucson job market and bilingual ability in a local client community language strongly preferred.
