The Gist:
Help design and run Action contre la Faim’s food-security project in Marseille’s poorest neighborhoods. You’ll support partnerships, track progress, and help vulnerable people access food through markets and cash transfers.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Map local actors and partners; help define how the project will operate on the ground
- Develop partnerships and coordinate networks across organizations working on food access
- Organize surveys, focus groups, and user feedback; compile and analyze data
- Write funding requests and reports; document lessons learned and project impact
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in political science, local development, project coordination, or related social sciences.
- Experience: At least 2 years managing projects in French social services or territorial development, ideally focused on food insecurity.
- Standout Qualifications: Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks applied to French projects; knowledge of Marseille’s 13th-16th districts; proven ability to engage diverse community groups.
