The Gist:
MSF is hiring a medical doctor to provide technical and clinical support for chronic disease and infectious disease programs across field missions. You’ll shape implementation strategy, mentor teams, and help set standards for how MSF delivers care in these areas.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Deliver implementation support to field missions on medical and operational strategies for chronic diseases, HIV, TB, and hepatitis
- Train and mentor field staff on revised health programming while maintaining quality standards
- Contribute to MSF policy updates, strategic frameworks, and guidelines for chronic and infectious diseases
- Support research projects and help translate chronic disease strategies into country-level operational plans
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Medical degree with valid registration in a relevant professional body.
- Experience: Postgraduate clinical experience with demonstrable expertise in chronic care and humanitarian settings, including proven management of chronic care health programming.
- Standout Qualifications: Prior experience working independently in lower- and middle-income settings, teaching/coaching skills, and networking ability with senior management and international organizations are preferred.
