The Gist:

Support human rights advocacy, research, and legal work at Cambodia’s leading independent NGO. Ideal for someone passionate about protecting civil and political rights in a constrained environment.

What You’d Be Doing:

  • Research human rights issues and draft advocacy outputs (reports, press releases, legal briefs, UN submissions)
  • Advise project coordinators on implementation and help design campaigning strategies
  • Write grant proposals, donor reports, and internal training materials
  • Manage international interns and volunteer professionals

What They’re Looking For:

  • Education: Master’s degree in international relations, political science, human rights, development, or law; or equivalent professional/legal qualification.
  • Experience: At least 2 years working in human rights research, advocacy, campaigning, public interest law, international law, or development.
  • Standout Qualifications: Preferred: NGO experience, grant-writing background, prior work in Cambodia/Southeast Asia, experience in restricted civic spaces, or Khmer-language skills.
