The Gist:
Support MSF’s legal team across six thematic clusters-from humanitarian law to data protection-by drafting documents, conducting legal research, and assisting with field operations. Ideal for law students completing their master’s degree with an internship agreement.
What You’d Be Doing:
- Draft legal notes, guidelines, contracts, and training materials for operational and head office staff in English and French
- Research legal issues across multiple jurisdictions (employment, commercial, tax, humanitarian law)
- Follow up on HR disputes and litigation files in MSF’s countries of operation
- Manage and archive legal documents in the department’s database
What They’re Looking For:
- Education: Master 2 in Law (preferably corporate/private law) with a valid tripartite internship agreement required.
- Experience: Experience in a law firm, company, or legal department involving contract drafting and/or litigation management is an asset; litigation follow-up experience preferred.
- Standout Qualifications: Risk analysis and comparative legal assessment experience, plus proficiency with legal design tools like Canva.
